About Dunwoody, Georgia
Dunwoody is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in northern DeKalb County, Georgia with a population of about 35,000.
Dunwoody is considered one of the wealthiest and most prestigious areas in the metropolitan Atlanta area. The region is the site of many elegant homes, highly-ranked schools, and abundant shopping and entertainment venues.
In addition to the many attractions and opportunities in Atlanta, Dunwoody is home to Perimeter Center, an area that includes hotels, business parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment as well as the myriad shopping opportunities available at the Perimeter Mall. The mall includes such retail giants as Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom, as well as about 200 specialty shops and venues for entertainment and dining. The rest of Perimeter Center features a wide array of well-known hotels and additional shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.
